Malaysia Born-Talents

Malaysia is a beautiful country which produces many talents and most of them gained their fame in overseas and bring pride to the country. It is undeniable that Malaysia is not an entertainment hub that can make someone popular and to be recognized internationally. Look at the local artistes, they are only known within this region and beyond the boundary, they are no one. Lets look further, in America, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, England and China, the artistes there gain their fame and popularity without going abroad. These countries are the hubs of entertainment. Local production and music are not given much emphasis and support by both government and public. Malaysians tend to support international artistes especially when K-Pop wave is spreading across the world. Many Malaysian talents were able to make it through by securing their career in international market and only after that, Malaysians become their fan. Examples of talented Malaysians are:

Michelle Yeoh- Born in Ipoh, attended my alma mater (St Michael) and acted in many Hollywood films, the most famous James Bond. She is conservative cum talented and became the only female partner of James Bond who did not have sexual scene with the male actor. Thumbs up for that. =D. She was given the Datukship by the royalties and became the spotlight for both Western and Eastern.

Nicholas Zhang- A Sarawakian and won the Astro Chinese Singing Competition years ago. He made his way to Taiwan and built his singing and acting career in that island. His songs became famous and he acted in a few drama series. His popularity and fame are equal to any of the Taiwanese singers and actors.

Gary Chaw- A Sarawakian and he first traveled to Hong Kong with MYR300 in hope to become a singer. His voice is melodious but the producers told him that he had no look so turned him down. Gary was stranded in Hong Kong when he found a stranded cat. He felt the cate had the same fate as he did so he adopted it and wrote a song Only You In the World. This song made him famous. Gary is still famous and he is married and has a son.

Fish Leong- Originated from Bahau, Fish Leong lived in rural area and she has beautiful voice too. She is a cousin of Z Chen and close friend of Gary Chaw. When she was not popular, she sang Chinese New Year Song together with Guang Liang and Pin Guan. She also went over to Taiwan and sang many love songs, gaining her reputation as the Queen of Love Songs. She is now married but still continue to sing.

Guang Liang (Michael)- Michael is also from Ipoh and he attended Sam Tet High School. When he first made it to the world of music, he was in duo with Pin Guan. Later the duo separated and went separate ways. Michael became famous for his solo performance and one of the songs that made his fans crazy was Fairytale (Tong Hua). Michael resides in Taiwan.

Pin Guan- Born in Selangor, Pin Guan was once with Michael as a duo but after the lads went separate ways, Pin Guan was rather low-profile compared to Michael. However, his melodious voice and his decent look are not forgotten. Despite not so active in releasing albums, he attended many Taiwanese programmes and guess what, his fans still cheer like in the olden days.
Penny Tai- As a Johorean as she is, she was one of the earliest Malaysians making their way to Taiwan. She is a singer and a songwriter. She is a very talented woman and is currently residing in Taiwan. She used to produce a lot of songs which she wrote on her own but lately, she is kinda low-profile.

Z Chen- Z Chen is a cousin of Fish Leong and also made his way to Taiwan. His songs are famous too to the extend that many candidates for singing audition in Taiwan used his songs for the audition. He is kinda low profile now after his glory days have passed. He did not release his albums for years and his fame gradually fades. Z Chen, do something to gain back your popularity =DD

Lee Xin Jie- Born in Kedah, this pretty lady is well-loved and she is famous for her acting. Although she sings, her act is more prevailed. Angelica Lee or Lee Xin Jie became famous when she acted in The Eye, a horror ghost movie by the Pang brothers in Hong Kong where she was the lead actress. She is now married to one of the Pang brothers and a co-ambassador for SKII together with Tang Wei (Lust Caution) and Qi Qi (International Model).

Ah Niu- Ah Niu is a singer, actor, composer and director in Malaysia. he is well-known by the locals and Singaporeans. He used to study in Chung Ling High School, Butterworth, Penang and later went to Inti College, KL. His popularity increased when Richie Jen sung his song Dui Mien De Nu Hai Kan Guo Lai in the movie with Sammy Cheng. His popularity spreads to China. Rumour has it that he used to have a crush on Lee Xin Jie.
Wu Qi Xian(Eric Moo)- Eric Moo was a Perakean, born in Kampar and gained fame in Taiwan when he also sang many lovely songs. He is now residing in Taiwan with his Taiwanese wife and focuses on China market. He was one of the judges in a Taiwanese singing competition.
Jimmy Choo- Perhaps one of the most successful Malaysians out there. Jimmy Choo is no stranger to anyone. He was born in Penang to a family of shoemakers of Hakka descents. Jimmy is now based in London and his shoes are of one and only one. Jimmy's shoes are worn by many Hollywood stars including Tom Cruise and his wife. The wife of Prince William, Kate Middleton also wore Jimmy's shoes on her wedding. Even Victoria Beckham wants to wear only Jimmy Choo's shoes =D

Amber Chia- An Ipoh lenglui (beauty)...Born in Ipoh but was raised in Tawau, Sabah...Amber Chia is an international model, known for her pouty lips. An exception to her, her career is based in Malaysia and she survives. She is an ambassador for Pensonic and is married to her manager with a son now. She had performed catwalks in international fashion shows.

Mimi Chu (朱咪咪)- For TVB lovers, she aint stranger, right? Yeah, most of u might not know, Mimi Chu is actually a Malaysian. Born in Ipoh, her alma mater is SMJK Yuk Choy. She is an actress of TVB and starred in many movies and dramas. Most of them are comedies. Love her...=D She is residing in Hong Kong.
Andrew Tan- Andrew is a singer and his voice is very powerful. I specifically love his Imperative with Bii and also Tian Hou. He joined many singing competition before and became an ambassador for Terimee. From a slim skinny guy, he became a hunk within 3 months. He is now like Whoa...

30 Hour Famine

On 3rd August, I made my way back to UKM to attend a charity campaign, 30 Hour Famine. Organized by friends who are mostly from the Economy and Management Faculty, my stay there was not that difficult as I know most of the facilitators. My roommate, Zian went back on the same date too. We stayed over in Quan's and San's room and the very next day, went over to another hall for registration. On the 4th August, we began fasting at 10 am and the fast lasted for 30 hours. The purpose of the campaign is to alert people worldwide that the unfortunates in the poorer countries like in Asia and Africa continents are suffering from severe famine. We were only allowed to drink plain water and had soya milk as meals. We were not allowed to take bath for 30 hours consecutively. The period was made simple by joining various of games which made us too busy and forgot the hunger that we were bearing. Water games, building tents and sketch were among the activities included. I realized not only NUM students were involved but students from UTM, USM and UTAR also joined our DIY camp. Honestly, the main purpose of me joining this camp aside from helping the unfortunates was to watch live concert. The next day, on the 5th of August, we went over to Malawati Stadium in Shah Alam and lucky for us, we managed to squeezed into the stadium and grabbed seats. My seat was not far from the stage so I can watch the stars performing live clearly. Local artists and celebrities performed on stage such as Athena Ma, An Honest Mistake, T4C, Josh Lai, Gary Yap, Nick, Alvin, My FM DJs, Mix FM DJs, Daniel Lee, Deborah Henry, Francesca and 8TV celebrities. The climax of the show was when Lee Hom showed up. He sang only a song but that was enough to make the audience screamed like hell. After Lee Hom's performance, everyone in the stadium countdown and marked the end of 30 hours of fasting exactly at 4pm. We quickly ate bread and soya milk to fill our empty stomach. Then, I headed to Batu Tiga KTM station and went to KL Sentral. My train was expected to arrive at 9pm. I had my shower and dinner in KL Sentral before heading back to Ipoh. This campaign was grand and really eye opening to me.

Eli's Birthday

On 29th July...once again Eli, Kho and I gathered for the purpose of celebrating Eli's birthday. Lucky her, she had 2 early celebrations before her actual one. Kho was a colleague and a dear friend to both Eli and I. She is a mother of two and acts like a big sister to us. During our days in the office, she was our mentor and took care of us. We shared much laughter back then. Kho arranged for the celebration and booked a very cute and delicious cake...a Panda cake. We went to Station One Ipoh Garden and had our dinner. The cake was kept refrigerated in the fridge by the waiter in the restaurant. After the dinner, we had talks and we actually had second thoughts on whether we should proceed the celebration in Station One because only two of us would be singing the Birthday Song to her and there was a large crowd in the restaurant. Kho and I were quite embarrassed. However, we proceeded anyway and asked the waiters to take the cake out of the fridge. The waiters there are good, they helped us to poke the candles on the cake, prepared us plates and forks without asking. Kho and I sang the Birthday song in soft tone to avoid the crowd looking at us while we giggled all the way. Story cut short, Eli made wish, cut the cake and we ate the cake before going to Jusco's TGV for a local + Singapore movie, Greedy Ghost. The movie started at 945pm and by the time it was over, it had not past 12 yet. Kho sent Eli and I home. The trio had fun that night. =)

On 26th July, yeap thats today...my crazy friends and I once again met up in Jusco Kinta City. I took Eli to Jusco and met up with Penguin aka Suann and Kah Loon aka Panda. There wasnt a large crowd in Jusco as today is weekday. Chua joined us later and we went for a movie, The Amazing Spiderman. Well, what can i say? The Amazing Spiderman is amazing. Watched at 1145 and the show ended at 1 sumthing. Went over to Wok Sifu to have lunch together and these are the pictures taken during the lunch. Panda did not allow me to take his photo so there is no photo of him and me? Eli's birthday is just around the corner so we, the bouys bought two slices of cake from Secret Recipe to celebrate for her. I excluded myself from this blog, I love em and let them dominate my blog this time ^^. Congratulation Penguin, on ur enrollment into Dentistry course in AIMST!

Hunk Report 4

Oh My God...omg...omg....!!!! I just checked my body fat percentage and found out that it is now 10.9%!!! Close to my target already! My target is 8%. Previously in NUM when I did my medical check up, it was 16% and when I had diet for a month, it became 14% and when I came back to Ipoh and did  constant exercise and followed strict diet, the fat percentage dropped to 12.9%. After 2 to 3 weeks of following workout plan, strict diet and consume lots of protein supplement, it drops to 10.9% already. What a relief, my hard work does pay off but I still need to work harder to strip off that excess 2.9% of fat...WOOHOO~ Wish me luck!

My 5th Language

I wanna learn another language...Japanese. In my first sem of my first year, I took the Level 1 Japanese (Hiragana Class) and guess what? I scored high distinction for this subject...LOL..However, in my 2nd sem and my upcoming 3rd sem, the class for Level 2 clashes with my major subjects so I dint take it. However, I wanna master Japanese verbally so that the next time I go Japan, I need no translator. Im planning to work in Japan if I am given a chance. Japan's Microbiology is quite advance. Yakult came from Japan and it was because of Dr Minoru Shirota who found the Shirota strain and cultured it, bottled it and manufactured it as Yakult. Science in Japan progressed rapidly and a few well-known scientists are Japanese, one notable one Reiji Okazaki, from the word okazaki itself, you can relate him in the contribution to DNA. Currently, Im fluent in 4 languages verbally namely Mandarin, Cantonese, English and Malay. I decided to upgrade my linguistic capability. Japanese seems to be a good choice and it is undeniable that Japan is a strong power. Even in international airports like KLIA, you can see Japanese signboards, see how significant it is? Mandarin is progressing rapidly too as China emerges as new power in economy and politics. I will never neglect Madarin and Cantonese as they are my mother tongue and my root. I am simply seeking to broaden my knowledge by studying Japanese. No harm right? LOL

Hunk Report 3

Been forcing myself to do push ups for 100 times and rest intervals are 30 seconds...been sweating alot these few days and never skip my training. 5 days per week and 2 days for muscle full recovery. I just need to continue my progress until September and hopefully, the change will be significant enough to spare my money from treating my roommate. Haha...Anyway, I still feel my arms are progressing slow...the biceps arent big enough and the triceps arent firm enough. My left chest also start to have its shape defined...Together with this post, I will upload a pic which I just took today after 1 hour ++ workout to show my arms....Yes, the pic below is yours truly. =)

My New Phone

Recently bought a Samsung S2 and cost me about MYR1399...used my JPA money to by and the pissing off part was that, I dint turn off the Internet service and DIGI charged me continuously. I went over to the shop to ask the sellers to turn it off for me. Even after it had been turned off, DIGI kept charging me and that made me so PISSED OFF...My mother and I went over to the shop and demanded them to stop charging me for no reason. Initially, the sellers wanted me to go online myself and see why DIGI kept charging me. My mother said NO and demanded them to go online for us and call the DIGI, asked them why was my bill escalating. My bill escalated up to MYR300++ for no reason. The guy who worked there, helped us to call the DIGI and asked them to stop charging me. The problem was finally settled when DIGI agreed to give waiver to my bill after a certain amount i used. That was so annoying...DIGI line charged for no reason...REALLY DULAN!!!!!! And now, they barred my line for exceeding the limit....F***...The good thing is this new phone really brought me a lot of fun especially the 8.0 megapixel camera....LOVE it.

Proud of my Senior

A senior of mine whom I got to know since I was in Form 2 is graduating soon. His name is John. I first knew him when I was in Form 2 and he was in Form 5. We barely got in touch with each other and that was when he got transferred to St Michael from JPP for his Form 6 studies. He is a bright student and always score with flying colours in his examinations. Even when he was in St Michael, we barely talked maybe because we were not close enough. He sat for his STPM and I didnt really know what happened to him next. Just a few years ago, I contacted him via Facebook again. He told me he was in my current University, The National University of Malaysia and he was in Nutrition. And do u guys still remember when I was in diverged paths after I got to know what course I would be taking? I got Microbiology instead of Medicine. His fate was almost same to mine. He comforted me, telling me that he was devastated too when he got Nutrition instead of Pharmacy. He even applied Pharmacy in UCSI and passed the admission test but finally gave in to Nutrition for he had financial burdens if he was to choose private university. Then, he got a JPA and the same goes to me. We are both JPA scholars. Sometimes, we chat in Facebook and got to know each other current condition. Just now, we chat again in Facebook and he told me he is going to graduate in this coming October. He is graduating with First Class Honour (CGPA kept a secret). His lecturer asked him if he wanted to skip his Master and continue his PhD in NUM. He agreed and is waiting for his lecturer to mail him the form. According to him, his lecturer asked him to apply to become a staff in NUM (a researcher assistant or lecturer's assistant, maybe) for half year and then NUM will be sending him to oversea for him to pursue PhD. Honestly, Im so happy and proud to know of his achievements. He is one great senior and Im definitely going to follow his footsteps. He made me proud as a Michaelian.... :)

Mood for Ghost's stories

Recently have the mood for horror stories. Met Kho, my former colleague and got to hear a few of nice ghost's stories. Today, Im going to blog 2 stories that she told me which I find them quite creepy and eerie at the same time. Honestly, after she told me, I actually had goosebumps from my arms till my neck. Well, here they go~

1) The first story told by her was about a friend of hers who happens to be able to see the unseen. According to her, she dislike to go out with this friend, lets call her Miss A because she behaves weirdly and scared the hell out of Kho. Whenever they go out, Miss A will definitely eye to the corner or to the seat where Kho was sitting, and Kho realized that and she was uncomfortable knowing that the beings were around and even sat next to her. Miss A knows how to drive but she gave up on driving due to her ability to spot the sightings of wandering spirits. She was afraid to drive especially at night where she could see ghosts sticking on her mirrors. There was one time where a passing by ghost stick on her front mirror and she could not see the road ahead and hit the tree. That was the last straw, she gave up driving completely. There was a time when Kho, Miss A and their girlfriends went to Genting Highland for vacation. As you know, Genting is haunted and famous spot for the gamblers to commit suicide after losing a huge amount of money in casino. They were on the bus and when they reached the peak of Genting, they were thrilled to rush down from the bus and inhale the fresh cool air of the hill. Miss A stopped them, asked them to allow someone else to disembark the bus. Kho was startled, she dint see anyone else except for her own group. When the path was 'clear', Miss A allowed them to disembark. Even in the hotel room, Miss A would check the toilet first before anyone used them and asked the girlfriends to be patient as she needed 'them' to move out from the toilet first before anyone of them used the loo. At the very night, when the girls were chatting on the bed and the small TV in the hotel room was turned on, Miss A's face turned pale and white. The girls were busy chit chatting before they noticed the change in Miss A's expression. When the girls confronted her, she shrugged it off and denied being pale. The girls were curious and they forced her to tell. Miss A refused and went to bed. The girls went to bed not long after that. The next morning, when the girls were in the outdoor theme park and had fun, they started to ask Miss A what happened last night and why was she looking pale. Miss A refused to talk about last night but the girls confronted her over and over again. Finally, Miss A gave in and told her what she saw last night in the hotel room. When the girls were chatting on the bed, she saw a small girl was sitting on the TV and looked straight to them. Her legs were swinging sideways and her eyes were concentrating on the chit chatting girls. The girls were shocked and they demand for a room change that very night.

2) The second story was experienced by a relative of Kho, her female cousin actually. During holidays, Kho and her family went over to her aunt's place which is in KL to stay. Her aunt and family stayed in a flat on the 15th floor and the balcony of their home was quite near to the balcony of the home of the next block. Thus, they could see almost everything in their neighbour's home. That night when Kho and her cousins were playing cards, Kho's back was facing the balcony. In the middle of the game, one of her female cousins alerted Kho

Cousin: "hey, there is a girl standing behind you outside the window, peeking at us"

Kho (turned her back):" No, there isnt any girl behind me"

Cousin:"Cant you see? She is right behind you and she was peeking us playing cards"

Kho: "Dun scared me, this is 15th floor...a girl right outside our window?"

The cousin started to sense something was amiss, she forgot she was in the 15th floor and her face turned real pale and white. She let out a high pitched scream and dashed out of the room. The rests were startled. The next morning, when they confronted her, she told them that she really saw a girl standing outside the window and looking at her. She told them that the girl looked just like any other girls, with her casual attire, her normal human face and she was peeking them playing cards. She actually smiled to her when they had eye contacts, thats what made her screamed. Then, the girls thought that maybe it was the neighbour opposite to their balcony was standing in her own balcony, watching them played cards. When they tried to peek their opposite neighbour and that was when their aunt came in and asked them why. They told her that they were trying to figure out who lived opposite to them. Their aunt told them that the opposite home had been left vacant for many years even before they moved in. Then, they heard stories that the opposite home was once occupied by a pair of young husband and wife. One day, they got into a huge quarrel and the young wife jumped off from her balcony, died instantly. They concluded that the lady Kho's cousin saw that night might be the young wife, trying to check out what her neighbour was doing. Since then, the cousin never visited the aunt's home anymore and few years later, the family moved out from the flat. Fortunately~

Ghost Story Again~

Last night, I was with my Form 6 crazy friends in Olivenz Cafe. There were 8 of us (including me) and our conversation started with simple chat included how we were doing, out recent life and what we are going to do in this semester break. The gathering started at 730pm and ended at 1145pm. the topics of our discussion deviated to paranormal encounters and somehow, they were interested to listen to my stories because according to Fox, mine is very scary and gives goosebumps. Well, in this blog, Im going to blog another ghost story, personally told by both my uncle and aunt. I have an aunt, uncle and 2 cousins staying in Gunung Rapat area, near to Sam Poh Tong. They like dogs very much and currently, have 2 dogs as their pet. A few years ago, the folks here were shocked by the news of someone being shot to death in a car. This news was reported in the TV and newspaper. This man who had been shot to death was sitting in his brand new car when a few other guys went towards him and pulled the trigger, shot him for more than 10 times in his car. He died instantly after the hit-man attack. The car was covered with blood and his body remained seated in the driver's seat. He lived in Gunung Rapat area and according to unknown sources, he was loaded and was very cunning. He took others on granted and pushed them to the edge of bankruptcy. In his business, he crossed the line and unleashed the wrath of his rivals...to the point of killing him. Until now, his killers are still free and the force did not probe further when this case faded on his own, a typical situation here. Back to the point where he was shot to death by his rivals, the car was then claimed back by his nephew who stays opposite to my uncle and aunt. According to his nephew, this car was bought by him and his uncle so after his uncle died, he reserved the right to claim it. He had all the blood stains removed and drove the car back home, parked in front of his house (which is opposite to my uncle's) in the middle of the night. The night when he drove the car home for the first time, the uncle's dogs started to howl at the car and this drove other dogs nearby to join in howling. The howling was long and eerie. My aunt was alarmed by the howl and alerted my uncle. My uncle brushed her fear aside by telling her that the female dogs were having period that drove the males crazy. My aunt was not convinced because she knew dogs normally bark and in 'certain' occasion, they howl. According to Chinese belief, animals especially dogs can see the unseen and when they do, they howl at the entities to show their fear and alarm people nearby. My aunt continued to sleep despite the continuous howling and the night was made creepy and eerie after the arrival of that car. The next morning, my aunt went over to her neighbours and she was told that the neighbours felt something was amiss too the moment the car arrived. They heard the howling and the howl continued for hours non-stop (see how afraid the dogs were). They shared the story early in the morning and they told my aunt that the car was the very car the man had died in it. My aunt was of course freaked out but kept to herself. She could actually see the car right out of her door and windows. The following nights, the neighbourhood experienced very weird things. My cousins and my aunt could hear someone was crying in the middle of the night and it was the voice of a man. Coarse and manly sobs could be heard in the street and specifically, from the car's direction. Another neighbour, a woman heard someone sobbed heavily outside her house and decided to take a peek through her window upstairs. What she saw really scared the shit outta her. She saw a man sitting under her tree outside the house and sobbed very heavily. Since the night was late, she could not tell how the man looked like but based on the shape of the black entity, she could tell it was an adult man. Another neighbour, a teenager girl was on the phone in the middle of the night, chatting happily with her friend. Her chat was interrupted abruptly when she suddenly heard a man cried out loud in the middle of the night, breaking the silence. She had goosebumps and quickly hung up and went to bed. Another middle-aged man felt the presence of a man walking in the back alley and heard soft sobs and whispering, when he went to check via his kitchen windows, the alley was dark and no sight of any human. After consecutive of disturbing nights, the neighbours confronted the nephew's mother and the mother herself was worried too. Some neighbours heard a man crying in the day right outside their house and they had to put some amulets and charms to prevent this 'man' from entering their house. The nephew's mother later had the car blessed by Buddhist monks and ever since then, no sobs were heard and no one see the man sitting under the tree anymore. The car is still there and the dogs no longer howl, indicating the previous owner is now in the place where he belongs.

Hunk Report 2

The second report of my workout progress. Recently, browsed the net and found out an American Naval Calculator, used to calculate the fat percentage in body. Entered my data and found out that my fat percentage is now 12.4%. Yay! Just a mere 2.4% and more to burn off before revealing my 6 packs. Ever since I came back to Ipoh, I spent my time on workout and strict diet. Been having salads as my dinner for a few days and followed workout plan closely to burn off calorie. Whenever i jog now, i can see my 6 packs struggling to come out, haha. I also ordered protein supplement from my friend and expected to arrive in no time. The reason for protein intake is to burn off calorie and build my biceps and triceps. As i notice, both my biceps and triceps are still so small. I need bigger arms.

  nice arms =D

Father's Day

Today i will talk about the most important man in my life-my father. My father is the symbol of strength and he is the pillar of the family. He was born in 1961 in a village called Pasir Pinji. Back in the 60s, my paternal grandparents were poor and they had to rent a small room in a wooden house to stay. There, my father as the first born always with my paternal grandmother, stayed at home while my grandfather was always away for work. My grandfather works as a carpenter and he still does. My great grandfather was a teacher. In the 60s, my father had been a very naughty boy, according to my grandmother. In the 70s, he attended the Private School of Poi Lam and there, he befriended alot of friends whom now, we call them uncles. Their friendship lasts for so long, for decades and still live in the same city.
My father completed his Form 3 if Im not mistaken and started to follow my grandfather to learn carpentry. He was an apprentice to a furniture carpenter whom he had bad memories of how abusive the carpenter was. Sometimes, he would talk about his time being an apprentice and complained that old carpenter and his dictator son. Soon, my father left and pursued my grandfather's footsteps and ventured into the world of carpentry. He still works as a carpenter and built many houses in Ipoh and I must say, without them, there will not be rapid development so practically they 'build' the city. The story of how my father met my mother was told in another post and then, they got married, produced 4 children. I still remember my father was very strict to me when i was very young. It was because i was very naughty and he feared i might ended up in the wrong path. Slowly when I grow up, I am not that naughty anymore. My father does not share much of his childhood memories but we often heard them from my grandmother. Now, he is 51 years old and is still working to provide food to the family. Sometimes, when i compare him with his older pictures, lets say 5 or 6 years ago, he grows older already. He has white hair, wrinkles and dark skin tone due to harsh work under the sun 6 days a week.
He loved to race. He used to bike-race with his friends and had accident. That accident made him retired from the race. However, he loves to race with other drivers on highway when he is challenged. There, he goes, racing on the highway and my mother will keep warning him to stop. Sometimes, we sit in the back also worry for the speed he is driving, 160km/h. He does not get tired for driving and according to him, the longer he drives, the more energetic he becomes. He loves orchids and goldfish too. We have 3 tanks of goldfish and 1 tank of Flowerhorn in the house. The garden used to have orchids blossom every spring but now, his interest in orchids faded and he concentrates on goldfish instead. His earlier interest was on bonsai. Our house balcony is full of bonsai and one of my household chores is to water the bonsai. We always tell him that we need a bigger house but he is still worried for our education. Basically, there is nothing much to worry about but I think he is still reserved on buying a new house. My parents told us that buying new house is now our duty...Lol...so my siblings and I will have to plan for that. The dream house he wants is very simple, just a house with no upper floors and a big lawn for him to rear goldfish and plant orchids.
Anyhow, this is the story of the most important man in my life...=)

Coco Lee

Im sure the name Coco Lee is familiar to most of you out here. Coco Lee is a Chinese American who gained her fame and popularity in singing. Her talent in singing really 'wow' us. Her actual name is Ferren Lee and has a Hong Kong mother and a Chinese Indonesian father. Her father died when she was very young. She is the youngest and has 2 elder sisters. Her family moved to America to stay and her beauty secured her a place in Miss Hong Kong Beauty Pageant. Later, she signed a contract and became a singer. She was famous for singing the theme song for both Disneyland:Mulan and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (starred by Chow Yun-Fatt, Michelle Yeoh and Zhang Zi-Yi). Out of her many songs, i like only 2 songs... :P. One is 暗示(Giving Hints) and 每一次想你(Everytime I Think of You). Both songs are meaningful and the lyrics tell how she sacrifices in love and her foolishness. The songs are sang with emotions and the tone is sad. I think you guys should download and listen, holds meaning to most of the people. In 2011, Coco Lee is married to a wealthy Canadian-Jewish guy, Bruce Philip Rockowitz and her wedding dress is designed by Veronica Wang. WoW!

Gorgeous

Lol, the blog today is not to tell u guys how gorgeous i am. Gorgeous is actually a 1999 Hong Kong movie. I watched it when i was very young, probably in primary school. This movie was produced 13 years ago, imagine that. The plot of the story was very overwhelming for me and sometimes inspiring too. It tells about a Taiwanese girl (starred by Shu Qi) who found a bottle in the sea when she was playing with her dolphin. There was a paper in the bottle and it was written 'Do you know Im waiting for you?'. She was so touched and decided to find the one who wrote this message. She boarded a flight to Hong Kong to find the guy who wrote the message. It turned out that the guy was a gay called Albert (starred Tony Leung). Shu Qi later met a billionaire (starred Jackie Chan) and both fell in love with each other. This movie is famous for many international stars who acted in it. The rest were Stephen Fung, Daniel Wu, Stephen Chow, Sandra Ng and Richie Ren. The theme song of this movie has always been my favourite. I envy the girl in the movie who had been so brave and romantic in searching for her love. I guess not many of us have the courage to do so. Well, among the stars acted in this movie, I like Shu Qi the most so only her pics will be uploaded here...lol...no offence.

Today is 13th June

Today is 13th June 2012, exactly 10 years since 13th June 2002. My maternal grandmother's death anniversary. Its been 10 years and she left us for 10 years already, still she has not fade from my memories. Last night, I was thinking of her before going to bed and guess what dream I had? I dreamed of me dying and entered the Underworld where I had to line up to meet the official so that I can move on. However, I was the first in the line and I met this official with a horse's head. He told me to write in Chinese and I barely could recall...I told him I did not know. The official was reluctant to let me move on but I persuaded and begged him until my friends came to help me. After I wrote the Chinese characters on a piece of paper, I was allowed to cross to the other side. At that moment, I was so sad because I did not know my cause of my 'death' and I was thinking of my family. How were they feeling and I also feel sad for myself as I am only 21. I do not want to leave at such a young age. Then, I was allowed to meet my other deceased relatives and there she was, my maternal grandmother, sitting on the couch, dressed nicely. The moment with her was brief and the next thing i knew, i was back to the world. I didnt die. Hahaha...what a dream...Well, at least i know, the lesson is I still treasure my life and I could still see my grandmother one more time after so many years. Signing off, readers.

Hunk Report 1

Been started this blog for 3 months already, I think. Today, I would like to report my workout progress. On the right path, I would say but rather slow. This saddens me. I vowed to build a nice body shape and post these pictures on the blog so that everyone could see. Been 3 months and I still have not achieve the shape I want. However, I received many compliments from the males staying in my hostel especially my roommate. I love to walk topless around the hostel and I am not afraid as only males are present. Some came asking me whether I train in gym. I was flattered to hear that and this means compliment. Used to write tht I would be training in KAB gym after my mid term. Well, I did but the passion slowly fade and I no longer visit the gym. Besides, Im preparing for final now. Haha, too many excuses im giving to myself. However, I train 5 days a week in my room. My waist now measures 29 and it is a good result. Been doing medical check up and got to know my fat percentage was 16%. Few days ago, checked my fat percentage again and it is now 14%. Based on experts, if u wanna have ur 6 packs revealed, your body fat percentage must not exceed 10% and thats what Im doing now. Following a strict diet, consumed little carbo per day and drink alot of water. few liters, I would say. My left chest started to have its shape. Previously, only my right chest looked good but now, I emphasized and put more efforts on my left chest. The line started to form but the progress is slow. Maybe I do not consume protein. One thing that saddens me is that my arms look small. been training my triceps and biceps. Improvements are slow and really saddens me. Well, I would just keep training and after my final, I am going to use my 2 months break to do intensive training, build more pure muscle. It is always a proud moment, walking around with that flawless body and look even better when you try new clothes on. Did i mention that if my 6 packs were not revealed in September, I would have to treat my roommate for 3 consecutive dinners? Lolz, thats an offer i made to motivate myself and he gladly accepted it. First, he wanted me to succeed and second, he got nothing to lose in this bet. Thus, I set by the end of August, I would have my 6 packs revealed! Hopefully!!!!!!

Spartacus-Gods of the Arena

I have just finished watching Spartacus-Vengeance but I still haven blog Spartacus-Gods of the Arena. Let me do this blogging before I continue to blog about Vengeance. Spartacus-Gods of the Arena is set to portray years before Spartacus came to the ludus. Young Quintus and Lucretia were not powerful enough in the ludus and Quintus's father, Titus was still alive. Titus was the true master of ludus and was away in the beginning of the series. Both Lucretia and Quintus led the House of Batiatus. Back then, Lucretia had a personal slave named Melita before Naevia became her personal slave. Melita was high in slaves' ranking and was a wife of Oenomaus. Oenomaus and Melita's bestfriend was Gannicus, the champion of Capua. Gannicus was a playboy and has laid with many whores before. Naevia was a low ranking slave and was following Melita. Her bestfriend and childhood friend, Donna was her only companion in the ludus. Both were virgin and beautiful that time. Quintus met Crixus in a market and bought him to become his slave and determined to train him as a champion. Oenomaus was not yet a Doctore and he had just recovered from the battle with Theokoles. His lost in the battle made Quintus lost favour towards him. Quintus had eyes on Gannicus to become the champion. Jealousy arouse from Oenomaus. The Doctore back then was a strict man who trained all the gladiators. Crixus wanted to become a champion and learned from Gannicus. Meanwhile, Lucretia invited her bestfriend, Gaia to the house as a guest. Immoral Gaia persuaded young Lucretia to get laid with the slaves but Lucretia had heart only to Quintus. Gaia was attracted to Quintus when she saw both Quintus and Lucretia had sexual intercourse. As time passed, she slowly joined the couple in the act. Quintus had enemies back then, Tullius and Varrius. Both competed with Quintus. Tullius was the one to order whose gladiators to fight in the premier of arena. The arena was just started to be completed back then. Solonius remained a faithful friend to Quintus and eased his burden no matter what happened. Ashur and other Syrian slaves were also brought into the ludus in this series. Ashur was no fighter and the reason why he was given the mark of the brotherhood was his ability to translate for his fighter-friend. On one occasion, Melita was required to get laid with Gannicus in front of the noble guests. Both dare not to object and gave in. In the mean time, Oenomaus accidentally killed the Doctore and he was made the Doctore. Gannicus found that he fell in love with Melita and kept on bothering her without the knowledge of Oenomaus. Melita felt the same but was running away from it. Titus belittled his son, Quintus and blamed his son's failure on Lucretia. Naevia and Donna's relationship was severed when Donna was chose to have sex with Crossotius but not Naevia. Naevia tried to make amendments but Donna avoided her for shame and guilt. When Naevia confronted her, Donna admitted that she felt embarrassed. On one occasion when Gaia wanted to help Lucretia to secure the house, she slept with Tullius but was killed by him. Titus wanted to keep it a secret as Gaia was a Roman. He made up a story telling the Romans that Gaia was drunk and fell of the cliff. Lucretia was angered by her death and vowed for vengeance. Quintus wanted to kill his father but did not do so. Both Quintus and Lucretia agreed to leave the ludus. Just by the time when they were about to leave, Titus fell ill and Lucretia fed him honey wine, a gift from Tullius. That time, Quintus and Oenomaus were away from the ludus. Melita wanted to have final drink with Gannicus as he will be sold to the other master for defeating in a battle. Both Melita and Titus drank the wine and met their end. Lucretia secretly poisoned the wine so that Titus' death could be blamed on Tullius and Gaia's death to be avenged. Lucretia did not know that Melita drank too and was saddened for her death. Naevia was made her personal slave. Naevia stole Gaia's money and gave it to Donna so that she could escape. Donna escaped from the house. Quintus, Gannicus and Oenomaus vowed to kill Tullius for this. They abducted Tullius and Varrius. Solonius secretly made a deal with Varrius by converting all Varrius' gladiators to him. His act severed Quintus and his bond. Meanwhile, Tullius was severely injured by the men and was concealed within the bricks under the arena alive, waiting for his death. Before the premiere battle took place, Donna was among the slaves captured for escaping and was executed in front of Naevia. Naevia could only cry for her friend. The premier battle of the arena had Gannicus, Ashur and Crixus fighting against 20 other gladiators. They outwitted most of them and when Ashur wanted to hurt Gannicus so as to become the champion, Crixus made his leg crippled and he lost in the battle. Crixus then lost too and Gannicus won after killing the last standing gladiator. Solonius then tricked Varrinius to grant Gannicus freedom which made Quintus hate Solonius. When freedom had been granted, Gannicus left the ludus as the first slave to become a free man.

Final Preparation

2 weeks from now, I will be sitting for my final examination, starts on 18th June and ends on 22nd June. It is just a mere of one week. I just came back from Ipoh today after my birthday celebration with my family. Purposely came back early to do intense revision. There are so many distractions in Ipoh, once I start driving, I can spend hours of driving here and there, exploring the gourmet of Ipoh or go window shopping, watch TV, spend hours in front of laptop and many others. To end distractions, Im going to confine myself in the small room of KBH for intense revision. I only have to sit for 4 papers this sem and therefore, I promised myself to do well so as not to disappoint myself. My roommate is back in his hometown too and thus, the room is all mine. LOL...guess i will spend less time blogging and start studying already. Time really flies like an arrow, after my final, I will be completing my first year and enter the 2nd year phase where I will become a senior. Cant wait to see my juniors. Haha. Adios, guys.

Birthday Boy ~ Me!!!!!!!!!

Its 3rd June today and 21 years ago, a gigantic baby boy was born into this world by a lovely mother and dedicated father in Poliklinik Hospital Besar Ipoh at 7.29am. This gigantic baby weighed 3.2kg and according to my mother, this baby was rich in blood and had very dark appearance. The nurse had to carry me away to let some blood out. LOL. My mother told me when she had me, she had many nutritious food. Thats why I was so 'nutritious'. This baby boy was thought to be a baby girl due to some mistakes that occurred during the ultra-sound test. Everyone was expecting the arrival of a girl but was shocked to receive a cute baby boy. This boy was brought up with love and was strictly educated in home. The parents were strict to him for fear that he will go to the wrong path. Slowly, this boy reached his adulthood today by turning 21 as a handsome and suave guy, LOL. 21st birthday celebration was not grand. His sisters bought him 2 pairs of short pants and a shirt from F.O.S, his parents treated him dinner in Sun Hup Kee Restaurant with kuih talam as side dish. This guy has never wanted more other than his family's company. Together with this blog, I will post a pic of his cute younger days.

Disneyland in Ipoh?

Rumours have been circulating around in the city of Ipoh and became a topic to the Malaysians. A Disneyland will be built in Ipoh, for sure? Ipoh had been a dull and dead city for decades due to failure of local government to upgrade the city and improve its status. Once known as the City of Millionaires, now gained its status as a perfect place to live in after your retirement. Perhaps its a good thing too. The beautiful scenery and the green lung it has provides a different lifestyle than any other cities such as KL, Georgetown and Johore can give. The heart of Ipoh is a busted area but outside the town, its a perfect place to live in. Recently, the news of Ipoh Disneyland filled the mouth of Malaysians. It is said that a space of 250 hectare will be used to construct this massive entertainment ground and is expected to complete in the year 2014, 2 years from now. The location is at Meru Jaya, not in the heart of Ipoh but an area near Menglembu. Meru Jaya is best known for its cozy ambiance and the green lifestyle on the hill, most preferred by loaded people. This Disneyland has 5 theme parks and besides the famous cartoon characters such as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Cinderella etc...we will have our local icons, some Malay warriors, assuming Hang Tuah and nenek kebayan (Malays' old wicked witch). A combination of the west and east. If Disneyland is really built in Ipoh, Ipoh will instantly mapped in the world map. It is a great honour to have Disneyland here and we stand equally with Hong Kong and Tokyo who has their own Disneyland respectively. Ipoh is always known best for its gourmet but not tourism attraction. This massive project will definitely bring a lot of tourists to Ipoh, running its economy.

Just finished talking to Penguin on the phone and exchanged messages with Hans. Really brought back the true friendship feeling. Love the feeling. Hans and Penguin planned to meet up this Saturday and asked me to join them but I am occupied by Choir performance that will be held on Sunday. Couldnt split myself into two. I told them that I will be joining them next Saturday where my study week begins. Penguin is now working in a dental clinic back in Ipoh. She had just finished her foundation in AIMST.
