The Walking Dead series

There is this one series that Im going to give credit to other than my favourite Charmed and Supernatural. That will be The Walking Dead. I myself fancy movies which are supernatural, magical and brings horror. Well, this series falls in the horror category. The title is not vague and one can tell what this series is all about. Yeap, the zombies. Has anyone doubt the existence of zombies? Zombies are actually slaves of Voodoo craft, practised in Haiti area. There were reports of people dying and walk the earth after a few years-mindless. The rumours then spread and reached the ears of entertainers to produce zombies-movies such as Living Dead, Dawn of Dead etc. Of course, original zombies do not eat human flesh.
Back to the series, it features a sheriff; Rick, his wife; Lori, son; Carl, his best friend;Shane and a group of survivors. Rick became the leader of the group and lead the group to safe place where they hide from the 'walkers'. Typical zombie-movie-plot but this series is featured real and the plot is not bored or monotonous. There are always something that will surprise you and made you jump from the couch. Well, in my case, it did. The plot has many twisted events that no one is able to predict the end. That makes the series real and happening. The first season is only 6 episodes and the second season is 13 episodes.
The antagonist in the series is Shane Walsh, the best friend of the main protagonist, Rick Grimes. Both were sheriff before the world awful in the very first episode. Shane had a crush on Lori and was with her when both Lori and Carl thought Rick was dead. Rick's return made Shane emotionally unbalanced when Lori decided to turn off the flame of their affair to stay faithful to her husband. In the end of season 1, they arrived at the CDC and found the only surviving scientist, Dr Jenner. Dr Jenner was experimenting to come up with  vaccine that can save the world from the damnation. I was wondering would I become someone like Dr Jenner if I really become a scientist one day? Coming up with a vaccine to save the world, thats a noble deed.
However, Dr Jenner told the group that there is no cure and all human beings are now the carriers of the unknown virus. The last standing scientist decided to die with CDC by activating self-termination of the CDC building. One member stayed with him because she could not bear the fear she was carrying everyday. The CDC exploded, indicating the end of science to go against the virus. The group moved on...end of season 1.
Season 2 starts when the group was at a stranded highway and the lost of Sophia. The search began and they found a safe home in a large farm, owned by Hershel, a vet and his family. Rick and the group joined Hershel's at first because Carl was shot by Hershel's servant. Two groups got close and when they figured out the barn was infested with walkers, Rick's group cleared them. Hershel thought the walkers were patients and kept them in barn. It turned out that Sophia had turned and was one of the walkers in the barn. Rick shot her in the head. Shane and Rick brotherhood was severed when Shane tried to win back Lori.
In the end of season 2, Shane lured Rick to the woods as he plotted to kill him. Rick figured out the evil intention and took the first move, stabbing Shane as Shane pulled the trigger to shot Rick but did not hit him. The sound of shooting attracted walkers nearby and the farm was soon infested with walkers. The group fought to defend the safe home but they were outnumbered and decided to leave. Many lives were lost that night. The surviving members settled down in the wood without noticing that their camp is set near to a large prison. End of season 2.
Im still looking forward for season 3 to be released. The large prison really attracts me. What is kept in this large prison? Thousand of walkers? so, i am assuming that the group might venture into this isolated prison and encounter thousands of walkers. That will be very interesting to watch. Adrenaline pumping, you know.
Stay tuned for season 3...Goodnight.

Hunk Body Under Progress!

I had been working out since I was 16 years old, that 5 years ago and i cant get the desired body shape yet. I kept wondering, what had i gone wrong? Recently only i figured out that the key to 6 packs or 8 packs is the diet but not the crunches i made. I realized I was wrong...I did so many crunches in the past but ended eating in bulk. The fat layer did not burn away but it was pushed out as my internal abdominal muscle got stiffer. Hence, it made me look belly. Before i was enrolled in NUM, my waist measurement was 33, almost reaching 34 inch. Guess what, my wist measurement is 30 inch now. Thanks to my constant exercise and strong determination to survive days eating cereals and oats. Yeah, from what i read, both cereals and oats really trigger fat-burning faster because they are whole-grain meals. Whole-grain meals trigger ur insulin production and your uptake of glucose by cells is increased. No glucose is converted to fat and you get slimmer stomach. For better result, i am planning to hit the gym which is available in the nearest hostel, KAB. Unfortunately, my hostel, KBH has no gym and i have to make my way all over to KAB to work out. I will be doing this only after my mid term exam. This week will be going to be busy for me because i am preparing for exam and i have to go to orphanage home for an event this weekend. So, watch out for 8 packs pictures to be uploaded soon in this blog. Gotta dedicate myself to Biology Molecule and Genetics today.
<<<<This is the ideal body I wanna get before the end of this year! Watch out!!!!!!!!!

Simple blogger with simple blog

Erm...a bit of introduction is necessary, i guess? Just a simple lad, 21 years old and a freshman. Blogger's name is Jiho and currently enrolled in the National University of Malaysia. Um, very keen in toning up body and that's why the title up there, body of a soldier. My toning up is still under progress but dun worry, once i get the desired body, will upload more pictures here . Um, actually im writing this blog because i wanna write down my untold feelings. Its kinda hard to voice out to someone about how u feel so i guess its better to pen down here. Jiho is also aiming to get first class honour when graduate so that i can pursue my PhD without going through Master. Oh yeah...currently taking Microbiology so aiming to become a bright scientist in this field. Had lots of up and down but yeah, had survived the obstacles and that's what shape me today. Maybe its a bit weird to use Jiho as my blogger's name but that name sounds exactly the same as my name so its easy to remember. Well, thats all for now, have to do revision for my coming mid term exam (studying Genetics now). Bye for now.

This is a picture taken by Stephy at Sushi Zanmai, The Gardens Mall. Look kinda pale though.
